INJURY PROVES FATAL
Benjamin Mankin Dies as Result of Fall Three Weeks Ago
Benjamin Mankin died at his home in Eturia street Saturday night (November 11, 1905) as the result of injuries received by falling down stairs at his home three weeks ago. Mr. Mankin was injured internally and had been confined to his home since the day of the accident. He appeared to be recovering from the effects of the fall and was sitting in a chair chatting with members of his family when he was stricken with fainting spells. The first attack came upon him about 9 o'clock and he died about 11.
Mr. Mankin was 52 years old and was born near East Palestine where three brothers reside. He had been a resident of East Liverpool about five years. During the summer he was employed on the James Martin farm as a laborer. He is survived by a wife and two sons and a daughter.
The funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Mr. Peregoy, pastor of the Erie Street M. E. church officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
