Mrs. Audrey Simmons Springer, 55, of 201 2nd St. Newell,
died today at 8 am at University Hospital, Morgantown, WV after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 19, 1909 in Middlebourne, WV, a daughter of the late
James Hugh Simmons and Lillie Ellen ( Brewer) Simmons, who is still living.
Survivors also include a daughter, Miss Beverly Springer of Chester; a son
David A. Springer of Henrietta, Tex.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rade (Opal) Saddler of Los Angeles, Mrs. Stoney (Marie) Bowen of Newell and Mrs. Hiram (Garnet) Dunn of Mingo Junction; 3 brothers,
Lonnie Simmons of Newell, Ray Simmons of Newell and Hughie Simmons of Newell; 2 step-children and 4 grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
