Attorney Sheridan E. McCormick, 68, died Thursday (Jan. 18, 1934) at 7 p. m., at his home in East Main street, Salineville, after six month's illness.
Mr. McCormick, who was born in Wayne township, was admitted to the bar in 1894 and with the exception of six months in Irondale practiced all his life in Salineville. He was a member of the Columbiana County Barr association, Knights of Pythias, Odd Fellows dn Salineville encampment of the Order and the Presbyterian church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Jetta McCormick; one son, James of Salineville; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stewart of Barberton; two brothers, Delmar McCormick of Lisbon and William McCormick of Congo, and a granddaughter, Doris Jean McCormick.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p. m. in the Salineville Presbyterian church in charge of Rev. L. F. Taylor. Burial will be made in Woodland cemetery.
