Obituary - Mrs. Ann Mayer

Mrs. Ann Mayer, aged 86, died at 1 o'clock yesterday (February 4, 1912) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Shaw, 1001 Ambrose avenue, following a stroke of paralysis yesterday morning. Mrs. Mayer had been in very good health, in spite of her advanced years, until the fatal attack.
She was born in Burslem, England, and has made her home here for the past 28 years. She is survived by six children and 23 grand-children, her husband having preceeded her in death 42 years ago. The surviving children are Mrs. Joseph Simon, Mrs. Ellas Sherwood, Mrs. George Shaw, William, Samuel, and George Mayer, all of whom reside here.
Funeral services will be held from the St. Stephens Episcopal Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Kell, officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery.
