Obituary - Mrs. Annie McConnell

Annie, widow of the late Edward McConnell, died at her home near Wintersville, Saturday morning, July 22, 1911, at 3 o'clock, after an illness of three weeks. She was born near Carrolton, Ohio, being the daughter of James and Mary McCausland. Of a large family, only one sister, Mrs. Hugh Hanna, of Carrollton, survives. She was married to Edward McConnell in 1868. He died November 19, 1896. The following children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted, self-sacrificing mother: Emma, wife of J. E. Spence, of East Liverpool; James, on the home farm; Joseph of Mt. Tabor; Ross, of near Youngstown; Anna, wife of John Williams, of Coal Hill; Margaret, teacher in East Liverpool schools, and Sara and Edward at home. She was a member of the First U. P. church of Steubenville.
