WELLSVILLE - Mrs. Anna M. Bentz, 78, of 10th Street Extension, died at 2:07 p.m. Sunday at the Netwick Convalescent Center, where she had been in failing health for several months.
She was born Jan. 27, 1906 in Conway, W.Va., the daughter of William and Bess Uhl Shuman.
She was a member of the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church and its Women's Missionary Society.
Her husband, Clarence L. Bentz preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1984
She is survived by four sons, James E. of Highlandtown, Terry K. of Duncanville, Texas, Jack E. of Irving, Texas, and Dennis L. of Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Marilyn) Householder of Wellsville; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the MacLean Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Mosiener officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
