Andrew McFarland, 87, lifelong resident of Fredericktown, died in the Home for the Aged, in Lisbon, Saturday at noon, following an illness of several weeks. Mr. McFarland was born 5 February 1850. His wife was formerly Eliza Eaton, who died in 1930. Mr. McFarland is survived by a son, Everett McFarland of Fredericktown; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Farmer of Salem, Mrs. Adelia Jackson of Rogers and Mrs. Lessie Dailey and Mrs. Anna Reddick of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Warrick funeral home in Columbiana. Services will be held in the Fredericktown Christian Church Tuesday at 2 p.m., in charge of Rev. C.R. Cheeks, former pastor of the Glenmoor United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery in Beaver County. Friends are requested to call at the Warrick funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
