Salineville - Alfred A. Hart, former resident here and instructor in music at Carrick High school in Pittsburgh, died suddenly Friday afternoon (August 20, 1937) at 4:30 at Bellevue hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born on Oct. 13, 1895, the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Hart here, who survive him with his widow, Martha Wilson Hart, a son, Alfred A. Jr.; a brother, Edson, and a sister, Mrs. D. H. Funk, the latter of Jewett, O.

Mr. Hart was taken ill Tuesday. He was a graduate of Salineville High school, class of 1915, and of Muskingham college, class of 1921. He also attended Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh and received his M. D. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Services will be held Sunday at 6 p. m., eastern standard time, at the McDonald funeral home, 529 California avenue, Avalon, pa., with a brief service, and interment to follow Monday at 2 p. m. in Woodland cemetery in Salineville.
