Death Claims Widow At 92
Mrs. Addia McIntosh Salineville's Oldest
Salineville - Mrs. Addia (Sissie) McIntosh, the village's oldest resident, died at Eve's Rest Home Friday at 10 a. m. following a lengthy illness. She was 92.
Mrs. McIntosh, widow of D. O. McIntosh, who died in 1926, was born in Wayne Township Aug. 14, 1865.
She resided in the Salineville vicinity her entire life. She operated a general store here for 65 years, retiring 12 years ago because of illness. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Burns of Salineville, and a grandson and great-grandson.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Maple Funeral Home at Kensington by the Rev. Boyd Burd of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church, assisted by the Rev. E. E. Bacon, pastor of the Salineville Church.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and night.
