Adam Houser
Adam Houser, aged 47 years, 9 months and 11 days, died at his home on West Fourth street at 8:35 o'clock Monday evening (September 21, 1903), after an illness of one week. He was a well known potter and his unexpected death wa a shock to his many friends.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Houser, two ddughters, Mrs. George Mort, jr., and Mrs. James Turner, two sons, George and Harry and two grandsons, Adam G. Mort and James G. Turner, and his mother, Mrs. Katherine Houser, two brothers, John and William and three sisters Mrs. J. M. Hart, Mrs. John Whan and Mrs. Samuel McShane.
Mr. Houser was born in Economy, Pa. Coming here when quite young he obtained employment and has been in the employ of the Croxall pottery for the past 26 years.
The friends of the deceased can view the body from 10 to 12 o'clock today. The funeral services will be held at the home at 1:45 o'clock today, and will be conducted by Rev. J. G. Reinhartz. Interment at Spring Grove cemetery.
