We have several volunteers and a large number of resources to assist with your research. Although this site is geared toward the tri-state area for research databases, the books and online subscriptions cover a much broader area.
There is never a fee or cost for any assistance.
Please use the following guidelines to request assitance, and remember that it may take a few days for a reply.

• Who are you looking for?
  Include any nicknames that may have appeared on documents in place of actual names.
• When were they born?
  Even an estimated year is better than nothing. It is very hard to search for John Doe in NY, with no dates as guidelines.
• What type of information are you looking for?
  i.e. census, marriage, death, birth, boigraphy from a county history, etc.
• What area have you found this family or person to be in?
  Please indicate what you already know, so that we are not duplicating your efforts.
• When did they die? (or at what point do we cut off our research)
